Warranty Information for Fold up boats sold up to and including 1st Jan 2016 

 

ALL PVC BOATS MUST BE PROTECTED FOR UV AND DIRECT SUNLIGHT

 

In addition to any rights which the purchaser may have under relevant consumer protection legislation, your Terminator Boat is sold with the following limited warranty unless otherwise stated.

 

RECREATIONAL USE

5 year warranty for recreational use covering the following -

Tube fabric against deterioration of material resulting in blistering, cracks or porosity unless caused by UV exposure.

Structural integrity of PVC material seams unless caused by UV exposure.

 

1 year warranty for recreational use covering the following -

Material used & workmanship of transom, floor and all attachments including oars, oarlocks, valves, ropes, rub strip, handles, logo, seats, pump and boat cover (if purchased).

 

COMMERCIAL USE

1 year warranty on all of the above

 

General Conditions of Warranty...
  1. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accident, neglect, misuse, trailering, storage, ripping, tearing, abrasion, staining of materials, mildew, stress to seams from heat expansion or over-inflation, damage caused by use while under-inflated, fuel spills, solvents or discolouration/cracking or material damage due to UV/sun damage. 

  2. Items covered by this warranty will be repaired or replaced free of charge at the discretion of Terminator Boats.

  3. Please note that warranty is "return to base" warranty and freight costs are the responsibillity of the customer 

  4. Customers must provide the original receipt as proof of purchase.

  5. Terminator Boats Ltd shall in no event be liable for death, injuries to person or property for incidental, contingent, special or consequential damages from the use of any Terminator inflatable boat.

 

Hot sun will increase the air pressure of your boats tubes...

Boats inflated on a cold day may become over-inflated on a hot, sunny day.  Always release some pressure on hot days if the boat is not in the water and only ever cover the boat with a light coloured cover.   

Leave your boat inside or in the shade when not in use & release air when storing it for any length of time.
